    Hey I’m really considering getting a fore-arm sleeve in the next couple of months but I am still quite unsure as to what to have done. I want a piece that relates to the ocean/water and nature, my original idea was to have a Koi-fish with flowers and lots of water patterns but now I feel that the Koi is too common these days and I need something else as the ‘main attraction’ as I don’t think that just flowers and water patterns will feel enough, halp?

    If you still want it in a Japanese theme you could go for a bathing geisha or female samurai as the centrepiece.

    Need to know your tastes really as you could have animals drinking by the stream to a mermaid rising out of the water.

    Thanks for your advice, It’s not really a Japanese theme that I’m looking for, it’s just the Koi Tattoos and designs that I’ve seen I have really liked because of the message behind the koi and the flowers and water.
    I really want a tattoo such as this because of my love for the ocean, water life and nature, as well as it depicting ‘pureness’ which I want marked on my body forever.

    but Koi dont live in the ocean
