Once again I revert to advice found elsewhere on this site. Show your current ink to a professional artist and let them know what you’d like (the half-sleeve). Let them know if there’s something specific you’d like to incorporate…or a theme you’d like to stick with and then see what their ideas are…I’ve seen some abosuely sick sleeves that incorporate angels (or divinity) in the top half anf dark images at the bottom…kinda a take on the idea of yin-yang…taking the good with the bad….

    just my two cents tho’

Thanks for your help that actually sounds like a good idea, its just that from where im from it seems like the tattooist only really care about doing the tattoo then getting you out ready for the next one. but from my pictures i left on here, i have the peice sign ubove it, and i idnt really know what i could do to expand/abstract from this.

Start by searching for an artist that will:

    A) listen to you
    B) take time to discuss what you want and what you don’t
    c) has extensive experience

DEFINATELY DO NOT GO TO SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO HURRY THROUGH THE PROCESS. THEY CAN TAKE A BULLET TRAIN STRAIGHT TO HELL. Ink lasts forever and if the person who is supposed to be a professional makes you feel like you’re on an assembly line…well, IMHO they aren’t very professional at all. The research may take longer than the tattoo…and it may mean going outside your immediate area.

One question…where ya from? I might be able to help ya find someone who will doo what you need.
