This picture is taken the day I got my tattoo and I told the tattoo artist that I wanted the heart to be more like a “turquoise/seafoam” color but, the tattoo looks just…green? Is it going to lighten up and become more bold? If it isn’t am I able to get it tattooed over to make it lighter? Serious answers only please.

You tattoo wil never be as bold or difinative as it was the day it was done, they look at their best at this time. You will end up with the colours lightening up/ fading slightly if anything. I can’t see anything wrong with it personally but probably just a misunderstanding of what you wanted.
Yes you can have it touched up at a later stage, if you have nice skin I’d give it at least 6 weeks to allow the trauma to settle down and recover properly or you may end up with a little scarring underneath the ink.

Hiya a tattoo does take a few weeks to settle especially fine ones and colour ones because the skin has to get over the trauma etc as metioned already. Give it time
