In the UK sometimes seen as a sign of having been in jail the tears from the eye supposed to be the amount of murders you’ve done. For the majority, probably none. Some lovely swallows out there though so wouldn’t be put off by that. 99.9% of people with tears and swallows will not have been to jail or murdered anyone, lol.

Swallows to me are associated with fidelity and love -a swallow chooses a mate for life and will only nest with that one bird and no other. They originated as Sailors tattoos, I am not sure why, perhaps loyalty to their country. When a sailor sees a swallow it means that land is nearby.
