Hello everyone,

I’m looking to get some work done. I’m very very unknowledgeable to any Japanese writing but have always loved the style/look of it. I’d like to get “work hard” done and after some research this seems to be the symbol that came up multiple times. I would like anyone with knowledge in this area to confirm this is correct before I end up getting something completely different tattooed on myself.

Thank you in advanced.

LOL I would be careful with japanese and chinese translations,I get several different ones,it’s almost an interpretive thing.
here is just a couple versions I found.

一生懸命働いてください

and

頑張る

you could end up with one that says “gay chicken” LOL

Thank you for the replies guys, that is exactly what I was afraid of haha! Does this mean I’ll never get a fully concrete translation?

Go to your local university and go into the language department and ask them there. Kanji tattoos are pretty lame BTW

I thought about getting one in Japanese that says: “I don’t know, I can’t read Japanese”.
