I got my tattoo last Sunday, so exactly a week ago. I have pretty dry skin and also have a rare skin disease which is sought to be an autoimmune disorder. The first few days were ok, extremely red, burned pretty decent and was leaking plasma and ink as usual. However, during about day 4, it started to scab lightly and had the appearance that it was about to shed so I switched to lotion. The lotion did no good and had to re apply often. Day 5 I switched back to a&d, it is lightly flaking chunks of color, STILL leaking bits of plasma and ink. Day 5 to current in the same situation but looks like I’ve lost more ink. Is this normal, ink not holding or am I have rejection or an infection? Trying to post a pic but it won’t stay.
