New to the forums, so I’m sorry if I break a rule. TLDR.

 

My local ink parlor’s artist didn’t want to do a cobweb on my elbow because I told her it was to remember time in JAIL, and not in prison. I’ve never been in prison, nor do I plan to ever be in that situation. She just basically said “No. That’s for long prison sentences…noise, noise, noise”. Which was weird because I had thought the handless clock was for that, but whatever. Anyway, I went to another parlor in Pasadena and got a similar response but this guy offered some options. All of which were meh, and he was trying really hard to upsell too which ultimately made me thank him and walk out.

 

Advice, please! I really want the cobweb, but if it’s ONLY for prison then I have not earned it. Is there a similar equivalent for jail time? I spent a total of 11 months in there, and it was a horrible experience; 3 riots, a dozen or so fights, got stabbed, slashed and jumped a couple of times ending up with a fractured forearm and broken toes and fingers.
