Hi,

Just looking for some advice. I got a tattoo nearly two years ago and wasn’t happy with it from the start due to an unwanted curve in it.

I asked several tattoo parlours about cover ups and I’ve been told that for a cover up I should get rid of the black first. I was also told the red would not come out. Since then, I’ve had ten sessions of laser removal in total. 5 with normal laser (s-quad I think) just on the black and then I heard about picosure which is better and faster at removing, so I’ve had 5 sessions of that now too on the black and also the red. It’s fading a bit better with the picsure but still not fast. They told me 2-3 sessions would get rid of the black.

As you can see from my fresh tattoo image to todays image after nearly two years and ten lasers, the black is still fairly solid.

I’m really now wondering if there is not some option of covering without further laser removal.

So I’m here for some general ideas on possible options or styles of something that would cover it!

Hopefully these images will work. ….
