Making a long story short, I had a gray-scale tattoo done recently. There was a spot I was OCDing about, so when I went back to get a second tattoo that had orange color in it, the artist used Orange color last, washed out the needle, and then used the same needle to put grey shading into one of my rose petals on my first tattoo. It’s been 6 days now, and I swear I can still see orange tint in the rose petal.

How possible is it that the needle was not washed correctly and some orange ink made it into my gray-scale tattoo? And what’s the possibility of this fading over time back to the normal color of my skin? You can compare the one petal on the right, to the other petals and other areas of my skin, and there’s definitely a noticeable difference.
