A few weeks ago I got watercolor paw print tattoo done. The guy did an amazing job and I was in love with it , but he told me to come back once it’s healed  because he might need to go back in and fill in the pad areas a little more. When it healed, the pad areas were a little patchy, but nothing I couldn’t live with. I decided to go in today anyway and have him retouch the areas where there wasn’t any ink and I’m wishing I had just left it alone. He darkened them in the process, which I told him I wanted him to darken them a tiny bit. After getting home and living with it for a few hours, I think he darkened those areas a little too much so that there’s not much contrast between the pads and the rest of the paw print. Would it be possible to lighten these areas by going back over them with white ink?

dont forget that it will appear darker until its healed. You can add white ink sometimes depending on if there is already pigment underneath the new white ink.

    Let it heal first though.
