So i’m thinking about getting my first tattoo. I am interested in eventually getting a few, but I don’t want a bunch of disparate images connected by random meaningless stars or other random filler. So my question is this: is it a bad/ stupid idea to get a large tattoo of a dragon/eagle/ whatever, and then leave the feathers/scales/whatever open to be filled in with smaller more meaningful tattoos later? I envision having multiple themes and styles present when all is said and done, and would really like a good idea of how to bring everything together into a single piece without it looking too habberdashery.
