Been looking at Japanese influence for both text & symbol options.

Thats why I’m on the forum, I’m confused also.
Wanting name & some kind of symbol that portrays her character/life.
It will be my first tattoo so it has to be meaningful & dedicated to her.
I’m not sure how to go about finding out this information which is why I joined a forum for help

Well what type of symbol do you want why dont you put something that she likes? If she likes butterflies for example her name with a butterfly or if she likes a certin type of bird or the beach or something like that.

I think it is the sister. I think she is looking for Kanji to say Susan Maree. which will not translate.

To the OP find something that you and your sister shared a love for and get that.
