Let me start by saying i know this is a sorry excuse for a tattoo, its wrong, its awful, what was i thinking etc… So please leave your nasty comments at the door. I was a very naive silly girl at 16 i wanted a tattoo for all the wrong reasons but its time now to correct this mistake and anyone who could suggest something to cover this up would really be helping me out a lot…
it was bad to begin with but wasnt always as bad as it is now.. ive had two babies since people always say your stretch marks are fine, show your belly and i nod and say,yeah yeah.. but the truth is i dont care about my baby lines its the horrible ugly blob on my side i get embarrased about..
So my question is, with these dark colours, odd shape and stretch marks going thru it… what can be done with it?? Im open to all suggestions complete cover-up, or could it be intergrated with a new tattoo into something beautiful???
Hey now…. slow down! First of all, this is NOT that bad… I have seen way worse. and, to be honest, I thought you were going to say your ARE 16 years old… to have a belly like that after 2 kids is crazy! I think you look fantastic and the tat is not that bad.
To answer you question you have a few options. You can cover it up- fortunately it’s pretty small and the majority of it is red, a color that is pretty easy to cover up. You would have to go pretty big though. This is where you come in. What do you want? We can’t answer that for you. Before you rush into anything you need to take some time and figure out what you want to put on your body so you aren’t here 5 years from now with another “what should I do” thread.
You could also laser it off. it would take a couple of sessions but it wold be gone at that point. then you have a blank canvas again.
Thats the perfect candidate for a good coverup. You just need a fair amount of color and detail and the right artist and it could turn out to be an awesome tattoo. What kind of things are you into??? Floral, Ornamental, Nature type stuff always make for excellent coverups. But you really have a ton of options.
i would love to get a little penguin family done over it i thought it would not be possible because of the red, i would like the penguins to look realistic not cartoony do you think that would be possible or do i need more detail?
I would have the parents in more of a heart shape, closer together and baby in front, this is a tatt i have always wanted
