My first instinct is to suggest you get yourself a Shy Guy from Super Mario Brothers two. In my head, he’d be looking downwards with his nubs covering his eyes. Done with a good amount of shading and detail, it’d get your point across, be cute as a son of a bitch, and be just a plain badass tattoo.

I believe it’s “Latin est fere ut adsuesco assuesco ut kanji in tattooing”. Oh, wait, that means Latin is almost as overused as Kanji in tattooing…roughly. Good advice Plato.

Though just so I’m not being a complete dick, telling you latin is played to death, I did try to find out if shy had a translation into Latin, and according to the translator programs I used, shy doesn’t have a latin equivalent.
