So i just got this Phoenix on my forearm. When it heals up I’d like to add a background. Maybe some smoke or flames, or something suitable for a phoenix.

Looks like a nice tattoo but it doesn’t look like a phoenix to me, I think it looks more like a fancy pheasant.
I think adding any type of fire will ruin this tattoo.

This is what I thought. It is a well executed tattoo, but not a phoenix due to the colour choices.
