Hi guys,

I am getting my first tattoo, a ghost in the shell tattoo the 9th of next months(June), I already know what I want and i found some pictures of it online,

the thing is, as you can see in this picture, the text is partly hidden under the logo.

This guy had it made perfectly as I want it, but I can’t find a clean image of this logo online with the text visible like on this picture.

The full sentence is: I thought what I’d do was, I’d pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes

I am asking for your help, if any artist could create this logo for me(same as the second picture) it would be awesome, thank you:)

Font: IMPACT or any other.

Phil.

What is a ghost in a shell tattoo? The tattoo you posted is pretty silly looking and you will be tired of it shortly and be back asking how to cover it up.
Just print ount what you have posted here and bring it to your carefully chosen tattooist.

Google it up. I’been wanting this for as long as I remember, what I’m tired about now is not having it, and yes it looks silly, that is what I like.

Well, If a deaf mute sees it and is pissed, they’ll not curse you out, nor could you explain just why in the fuck you wanted such a stupid tattoo. Perhaps the deaf mute will have a concealed carry permit and heat things up a bit.

What does that logo have to do with Ghost in the shell?

Your opinion is irrelevant to my original post.

For us older folks – The quote comes from Salinger’s Catcher in the Rye and the Laughing Man moniker comes from the title of another Salinger book. Ghost in the Shell is an anime series and Laughing Man is one of the characters.

You are certainly able to put anything you want on your body – the design is simple and any mediocre or better artist could take a copy of the picture and draw it for you. There’s no rocket science in the design. Since you already have your appointment, provide the picture to the artist you are scheduled to see in advance and tell him what you want – that’s part of what you pay for. It’s not reasonable to expect someone here to do the artwork for free.

Nope. I’m not in the habit of googling TV series I haven’t completed. But that’s an English quote that I know comes from Catcher in the Rye, so I’m wondering what that’s doing in a Japanese Anime.

You are right about the quote, still don’t see how its relevant to my original post.

For the second part: Yes I will ask her, but since there is this super cool forums on the internet I thought I’d give it a shot, we’re many millions on the internet, I’m sure a lot of people here have the skills to do what I need done and would be happy to provide their art/picture editing for free, there is still loving helping humans, young and old. I’m happy you tried to help, but you didn’t, be safe.

I’d try to explain further…but I sense this is a lost cause. Be happy in your world.

I sense you just don’t know what to do with your time, so I too will leave it be. Be happy in yours.
