We are having a casual fun outdoor wedding and am wondering if anyone has any suggestions on semi-upbeat , non-traditional songs.
So far I have thought maybe
Goo Goo Dolls – I’ll be your cryin shoulder.
Blessid Union of Souls – I believe
Metallica- Nothing Else Matters Instrumental (My fav)
I need one for the Girls, one for me, and then one for after we kiss and sign the paperwork and depart.
Enya – Only Time- for the moms to walk down to (maybe)
Edwin Mccain- Could not ask for more – first dance
Still trying to come up with a father/daughter dance that wount make me bawl uncontrolably lol.
Anyone have any suggestions??

“Redmen and Their Wives” by Guided by Voices is a really soft rock song, very catchy and very soothing.
“Light show” by Robert Pollard. It’s a hit or miss. Listen to the whole thing, because it starts off somber but becomes very uplifting and quite touching.

For you, you could do Eric Clapton-Just the way you look tonight
For a father/daughter dance(that’s hard because every song I think of makes me bawl) Elton John-Tiny Dancer
For the girls you could go for something from the ’80s, or early 90s, like seal or third eye bind
I would pick something that means something to you and your fiance for the kiss,
and for the paperwork, you could something like Simple Plan-I’d Do anything, or Addicted. (those two songs always make me think of romance and they make me smile)

enya thats a really cool song i also like raindrops keep falling on my head from butch casssiy and the sundance kids that up beat tell me how ur wedding goes and congratualations!!!!!!!!!!
