I’ve burned photos onto cd but when i put them into my dvd player all i get is a screeching sound and no picture.It doesn’t recognise films i’ve burned either although they work fine on my laptop. Can anyone help?

the dvd player probably only plays true copies, check what the symbols are on the player. you need dvd-r, dvd-rw, cd-r, cd-rw, sv something or other, plus it normally meantions that it will play photo cds.

Not all players will play all discs. I have had this happen. Just keep trying with different software until you find one that works with your equipment.
