Okay, so I want to make this film sendable to festivals and stuff. I got a 3ccd camera and I just need to know the basics.

I shoot in 16:9 right? Now when I import for editing, I just edit 720×480, and when I output it, it will be a 4:3 with the black bars showing, correct? Or do I edit in 16:9 also where there are no black bars?

it’s confusing. I just want to know the standard.
