    …the quarantined files be released? Basically, I have Avast and it slows down my computer experience a bit too much…I was thinking of getting AVG, but I need to knwo if all those quarantine files will not suddenly be released to infect my comp

    Best thing to do in this condition is download Ad-Aware from download.com before uninstalling or do anything on your computer and run that in to your computer. I am 99.9% sure any wires or problem you have you will find out. Best software ever.

    A simple way to prevent them from reinfecting is to DELETE THE QUARANTINED FILES. If they won’t let you, get a file shredder; it will probably ignore any protests from the rest of the computer.
    Depends on the maker. I’d have to say… probably. Just delete the files.
