I say:
I would switch off letting the other person pick the type of film, half the time and me half the time.
my personal picks are comedies!
They can be romantic or otherwise. They uplift and open up some sunlight into our lives. but i can see your apprecaition for a good horror flick!
Any type of movie I guess is the answer as long as it’s written well and makes you imagine.
Oh, by the way, that’s what movies, music, pictures and paintings should do as well. All art, music are meant to make you imagine or inspire you.
Or both.
That’s the way I criticize.
