Some time ago a young Native American lad displayed a talent for working with electricity. He got some government grant money and went on to get a degree in electrical engineering. Graduated at the top of his class. Felt like he was on cloud No.9 for weeks.
Then reality. He could not get a job because of the stereotype young Native Americans drinking all the time and not showing up for work. He slumped into a deep depression.
The chief of the tribe went to him and hired him to string lights to the shit house so they could see at night. He did the job very well and it lead to him getting a permenent job.

It wasn’t till years later that it became known that that was a record setting day.
It turns out that the young electrician was actuall the “first Indian to wire a head for a reservation”.
