I have a scar around my belly button from a tummy tuck 2 years ago. I was wondering if I could get a tattoo to disguise this, was thinking something tribal but am open to anything. Also I have some stretch marks on my hips can these be tattooed over? Any ideas for a design that would tie them in together with my belly button tattoo?
To answer your question, Scars can be tattooed over. My husband has a scar on his inner left arm. The scar i would say is around 4-5 inches long and was raised, From a surgery to repair a broken bone. He got a tattoo over that scar and it took well and is fully covered up now(can’t even tell there is a scar there). – I do know that some people take to ink differently so this is not to say that yours will take as well as his did.
