So I’m going to get my first tattoo, obviously. I’ve wanted one since I was a child and I guess I really just love this way of expressing yourself.

I created this in PhotoShop by editing the sign for Libra. The edges are rough but I’m sure the artist can see what I intended.
I want it to be pretty big; with the top two curves curving around my shoulderblades and the bottom being about halfway down my back.
I’ve got a steady job now so I’ll be able to save up the money for it.
Can anyone recommend a good studio for this in TX or Louisiana? and, if you had to guess, how many hours of work would this take?

That’s a pretty interesting concept you have there, and I see where you’re going with it. Not sure I fully like it though. Is it supposed to be organic (as in plants and stuff) or something else?

Well, it’s supposed to be a cross between the stems of a rosebush and a tribal cross.

It looks like a cross in the middle.
It’s hard to tell the design on the outside is a a rose vine though.

Do you plan on doing it in black and gray, because I really think color might make what you’re going for more clear.
