I will look for actual examples, but think of each “thick line” in the tribal design. They can do dark blue to light from top to bottom of each line, the design as a whole, etc. Or even Dark blue to silver, or blue to yellow to green, or other complimentary color schemes.

See then it might work okay. Again I would first get a placement idea from your tattoo artist and go from there to make a decision. then you can either setup an appt right away or setup one a little bit out.

yeah, it plays tricks on you because your (no ones) body is really symetrical…

Not likely the pricklies too much, just an opinion. I think something could be styled a bit more. Do you want spikes as opposed to flames. What about some of the mechanical style tats. maybe like mechanical spikes springing out as a protective measure.

Kind of like if someone is sneaking up behind you, they should think again..

It will definitely change, plain and simple. On your ribs it might change less than if it were right on your stomach. Do you carry your weight right down the center down the abs, or more well rounded aroudn the ribs and back as well. You see where I am going with this?

scrub, I totally agree, just being a bit of a smart ass because that is fairly hard to code. You’re right the tool is more for users to get an idea of different fonts as opposed to a tool for artists…

Most reputable artists would go back over it if you contact them right away to let them know it is blotchy. Most of them wouldn’t want you running around spreading bad publicity for them with a blotchy tattoo 😉

Wow, I think any artist (I am not one) will tell you it has to be bigger than 2″ to get the detail and keep it over the long haul.

In all seriousness, thanks for the feedback. I realize that may be a cool feature, and I will look into how feasible it would be to do something like that.

I do know that would require extensive coding…would be cool though…let me look into it before I jump to any conclusions.

yeah, i like the japanese style as well. I have working on a cobo for some time now. I think that is what it is called..thighs, ribs, half sleeves..

Did you artist recommend NeoSporin..mine has always said “stay away..battery acid worked quicker”
