Most people say tattoo removal hurts about the same as having a tattoo done.

If you are having laser removal its not really a surgery so much as a treatment also.

It is as safe as any treatment involving lasers. a trained professional should be fine to complete the procedure.

I would always go with someone who specialises in what you want. even if it is just calligraphy.

You will find a lot of artists can do calligraphy but some practice and excel at it.

Search your local artist’s profiles to see which ones do regular calligraphy style work.

I tend to uncover mine after a day or so and then keep them clean and moisturised.

If you are concerned then cover it up. Shouldn’t hurt for a few hours.

8 weeks is quite a while but not unheard of.

looks like it might still have a bit of healing to do.

that lumpiness might be due to certain bits of skin scabbing slightly differently or also might be what your skin looked like beforehand but you couldnt see because it wasnt black.

you do need to be careful with the sun generally with tattoos. sun damage causes fading in tattoos. you also want to keep it dry for a few days at least in the sense of swimming.
keep it covered in sunscreen and as dry as possible. If you do go swimming be aware of water borne infections that might affect it. you basically ahve a partly healed…[Read more]

If the tattoo has started to feel hot it may be an indication of an infection. Tattoos do often feel warm for the first few days but the heat should not increase.
Consider visiting your doctor or seeking professional advice if it continues to feel hot.

Its definitely heavy scabbing. That can happen for a few reasons. artist being a bit rough or just going over the one area a few more times to maybe get a solid colour.

sounds like they are trying to fob you off and make this your fault.

If you have a record of the artists reply, citing emotional issues, I would consider getting a solicitor involved. Going to court is probably nto worth it but i am not a lawyer.

This really needs proper legal advice from a qualified person to tell you your options.

its scabbing up heavily because of the amount of black in the tattoo altogether.
Are you keeping it open to the air? And what are you putting on it to keep it in good condition? moisturiser etc?

dont forget that it will appear darker until its healed. You can add white ink sometimes depending on if there is already pigment underneath the new white ink.

that bit of skin is very thin next to the little finger. i have seen some bleed / blowout in that area on other peoples phoptos also.
I would just go back to the artist and ask them to touch it up after it has healed. most offer this for free as part of the process anyway so shopuld be fine.
otherwise i really like the tattoo looks good!
