If it is something unique you should bring your thoughts to the artist, any printed pictures anything to help them get a sense of what you want.
Yeah, let it scab and keep putting the an antibiotic cream on it. That’s what makes them heal faster. Don’t pick the scabs, because it will take the ink off.
