Hi there from one Art Nouveau/Art Deco fan to another.
First of all here’s a good overview of some Art Deco fonts with their respective names (I think most of those are free):

If you’re an Architect you are familiar with the respective elemets you could use, it all depends on how big you want the tattoo to be and where.

Whose name are you planning to get tattooed? I think an Art Nouveau/Art Deco style family tree would be cool but you may not want to go that large just yet.
Personally, unless it’s your child’s or parent/grandparent’s name I would advise against getting a name tattoo. You may regret it later and have to either cover it up or laser it off.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I do appreciate the caution about putting a name permanently on one’s body, given the ephemeral and transitory nature of many relationships, but…we’re different! Hehe. If I post again in 7 years about tattoo removal, you all can say I told you so.

Asenath83, thanks for the font samples. Some of these I do associate with the archetypal deco type fonts, some perhaps less so – but even many of the latter are of interest. While I can recognize many fonts I like, I guess I am concerned about their suitability for a tattoo, and for a tattoo of my wife’s name specifically. So I am still indecisive. I can’t find any examples online of these types of fonts being used in tattoo lettering.
