yea, it looks pretty sweet to me, i would def never be able to tell it was a cover up. I guess this thread is pretty much solved and answered, but yea, just keep sheravs comments in mind and i bet it will turn out unbelieveable.

i would say not super bad, but im sure it was pretty bad for Sherav being that long
my cross took an hour and a half (urs will be much more than that) but it didnt hurt too bad
what ive always noticed about tattoos is it hurts at first, then goes numb aftera while… then the numbness wears off and it hurts more than it did in the beginning

my first tatt when i was 18 took like an hour and 45 min
and the guy didnt have the softest touch either… alot of grindin over and over and we only took one break and he suggested it because i was gettin pale…

where are you gonna get the tatt at on ur body?
is it somewhere that would be hit alot?
i was playin bball pretty soon after i got the cross on my back, if it gets hit or ne thing i does hurt, but it didnt seem to have an affect on the tattoo itself

ive bought a couple urban ink mags and noticed the same thing
i dont think i would say MOST is awful, but most of it is lower quality than you would expect to see in
a magazine.

anyway, yea that is a very nice looking tattoo, and yea it woudl take a talented professional
the amount of hours depends on the artist, some work faster than others

it will fade a little, but it doesnt mean it will get ugly, and its Ink, not paint… lol

my gf got some kanji on her back and they stayed slightly raised also
she has 3 others that havent done it, but the others were all done by a differnt artist.

i would think it would be soemthin with the artist, like butterfly said, maybe he went to deep… seems like that would be something that coudl cause it

something weird that happened with my tatts, and ive heard a few other ppl say this
it actually hurt less on my spine
i have one across the top of my back and it goes on the bone right at the bottom of my neck and it seemed to go numb faster than the rest of that tattoo did, so surprisingly it was the least painful spot of that tatt

I just noticed that the site you gave me Custom says its chinese lettering, which i really didnt pay attention to until i saw Sheravs post
