Got the outline of my tattoo colored in at the Chicago tattoo convention by a very reputable artist. When I got home, the faces looked very dark, and red. I called the artist and he told me it was a combo of three things:</p>
<p>1. Blood under the skin, which is changing the pigment<br />

I got the tattoo done on 3/18/17 around 4PM CST, so I count 3/19 as my first real day which means it&#8217;s technically 17 days old, and it&#8217;s still peeling/healing, so by the time it&#8217;s at a month or two, I&#8217;m sure it&#8217;ll look even better.
