    A lot. If you’re talking about the chest piece, without the sleeve, you’d be lookin at what, 25 hours? In Australia, where I live, it’s usually $110 per hour, so you’d be looking at $2,750. Depending on the artist, it could cost more or less, take longer or be quicker, but either way you’d wanna start saving.

    really 25 hours though? i was under the impression it would be around the 15ish hour area, maybe even less…

    if your going black and gray you could get it done in 15 hours but your easily looking at 20 for coloured work.
    in the uk you would be at least looking to pay 1,000 possibly double .

    Hi Riderd

    That piece is an easy 20 hours to get it right. The outline could be done in 6-8 hours no prob (my back piece was done in 6 from a predrawn stencil) but the time is consumed in fine detail and colouring or shading.

    You simply cannot rush something like that (well you can but end up with shit ink).

    I would say that for something like that you would be edging around £1500+

    ya, if i were to do it, it would be two smaller skulls with a little more detail (sugar skull style), and just overall smaller, across my chest only but same basic style.

    At least 2 grand in my studio, maybe as much as $2,500.00 In 4 hour to 6 hour sittings, I’m thinking four sittings before its finished.
