    So…seeing that I’m addicted to tattoos…
I was thinking of some symbolism that is personified throughout my life…
I want to get one that symbolizes withholding rage.
I was thinking a big bull wrapped in chains…
But upon researching this the bull seems to symbolize more along the lines of Strength, Courage, Masculinity…are the ones that I remember.
Impulsive behavior was one symbol of the bull that actually fits better than rage…

    But anyway.
Can you guys and girls throw out some more (animals preferably) that symbolize anger/rage?

I’m %90 sure I’ll just stick with the bull.
But if I decide that the impulse control is not as important as actual anger control I’ll have to change.

    P.S.
That UV tattoo on my ring finger healed up and is glowing just fine now if you happened to see my previous thread.

    Hi

First of all I am very pleased your finger tattoo has worked well – I figured would prob just the ink settling into the skin.

As for symbols of rage being held in check – my first thought was a fit wrapped in chains.

Rage is something I have a constant struggle with – I have a seething anger that is just below the surface 24/7 – I really cannot say why it is just something I have learned to deal with.

If I had to picture an animal it would likely be something like a bear or lion – both can seem very relaxed and explode into a murderous rage. Place a chain and collar holding it back.

The bull would also work as they can build up into a major frenzy when provoked.

    Take Care

The cover art for Metallica’s ‘St. Anger’ suits perfectly, but it might not be to your tastes. Even the Some Kind Of Monster artwork symbolises rage and inner turmoil to me.
