hi, i’ve been wanting to get a small word on the center of my inner wrist where it can be easily covered by a watch if needed.

but i’ve heard that since the inner wrist is a sensitive/soft area it tends to fade and the ink bleeds out eventually so even having it touched up still won’t look that good.

how true is this? and how long will it take to fade to a point where it looks pretty bad? also it will be on my left wrist and i’m right handed so it shouldn’t take as much damage because most stuff is done with my right.
    thanks

    Hi

Most tattoos need a reshade evry 10-15 years to keep them looking crisp.

Wrist tattoos because of wear and tear as well as washing can start to fad within as little as 5-6 years (everybody is different).

It really depends on how much exposure it gets to sunlight, water, and general wear of the skin.

The smaller the tattoo the more chance the fine lines will spread causing the blob effect. All tattoos spread a little after 15-20 years.

    Hope it helps.

i could hardly feel mine getting done , its the least painful tattoo i have ever had .
but it did swell up more than any other for about an hour after it was done .

had mine done 3 years now and its not needed a touch up yet

you should be ok, as stated it will fade slowly but all tattoo’s do that, and also the pain factor ist too bad either.
the after care treatment is crucial to any tattoo and if you look after it properly then it should survive mamy many years trouble free 😉
