Hi, I have some guns and have been playing around on some practice skin. Can anyone give me some hints on what I could use to stop the ink from staining everytime I wipe away the excess? It ruins my work and makes it hard to see what I have done. Thanx!

what kinda practice skin ya using? i heard that fake skin shit is awful to use… someone here may have an answer but i suggest you go get some actual pig skin at your local butchers… its cheaper that way too. good luck!

Not sure what type of practice skin I have but yeah is pretty frustrating stuff. I did get some pig skin from the butcher for nothing and it is way better. Now I just need to get the hang of using shading ink. On the practice skin it comes out pale / grey, on the pig skin its black just like black ink.

Practice is slow mainly because I have two young ones at home with me. But they won’t stay little for long, am hoping to get better with more practice and time. I am a visual artist – I paint portraits of animals and people, just wanting to get the hang of the guns now so I can tattoo my man and perhaps it may take me to other places if I am lucky 🙂 Thanx for your replies!
