    I’m new here, hey, hi and all that.
    I’ve been getting tattooed for years and have lots of black and grey work. However, I recently got a good-sized part of a sleeve in colour, and ithe itch is driving me insane. Is this all in my head, or does colour ink ‘act’ differently? The tattoo is healing perfectly, like all my tats, and looks great, but I don’t remember ever having it itch this late into the healing process…
    I go back in another four weeks to get the rest of the colour banged in and will bring it up with my artist at that point, but I was wondering if anybody else had had the same experience.

    hmm i never had any problems with colour at all but i heard people say that they have had a reaction to blues reds and greens before ,

    someone else here could answer you better than me :rolleyes:

    I’ve heard of reactions to red, but not anything else related to colour. This tat – it’s an octopus – is purple and blue. It’s probably nothing, certainly it looks totally normal… but it sure itches more than my black and grey work. Weird.
