Hi, i want to get a sleeve done and i’m gonna talk to the artist about this but id like to hear from some of you guys too.
So i have a few stratch marks, nothing insane, around my shoulder area, close to the armpit. will this cause problems? Its not the pain i’m worried about it’s if the ink will not hold or somehting like that. i just want a plain black star outline in that area so it wont be any detailed degisn there (if that matters)

I have had several tats and overheard the guys talking about this before and from what I understand the ink won’t ‘hold’ because the skin is different it will spread more. So the color bleeds over time…it does w/a reg tat, but stretch mark skin would happen quicker.
But I would see what they see if they are nothing big it might not matter…but if they are anything like the massive scars kids leave on a belly I would say NO WAY!

It’s just stretched skin, so it will hold like regular skin
