I’ve got about seven hours of tattooing under my belt, divided up between a sankofa on my neck and a scythe-bearing skeleton on my side (from my hip to the top of my ribs.)

Sunday night, I had some color put into my side piece and experienced something very strange… I was becoming really aroused during this process. This had happened to a mild degree in the past; typically I go into a kind of blissful meditative trance, but Sunday was definitely out of the ordinary. I’ve been trying to find some information or research on this, but to no avail.

One factor that may have a big impact on this new phenomenon… I’m seeing the tattoo artist. This is the second time he’s worked on me (the first was the night of our second date). I started to take notice about an hour in that I was getting really turned on. Around hour two, it became so strong that we had to take a break because I was having trouble staying still.

Has anyone else had a similar experience? He thinks it’s great, and I’m in no position to complain… I’ve just never heard of such a thing.
