Hay Dude,
You’ve been asking these questions for quite some time. Check your old threads and follow the advice we gave you then.
Give your tattoo three months and get back to us.
just different after care question sometimes i get to paranoid about taking care of my tattoos
Just relax and be patient.
I’ve had some ugly crap on new tattoos but the end result is good.
The ones I have with red and purple ink took the longest to heal.
well im not retarded im just retarded
The outer layer of your skin has taken a beating. Does it look like chicken skin? Feel a little damp to the touch? Then chances are it’s normal. When we damage our skin (before the scabby stage) and jab at it with a foreign body (like a bug’s mouth or a needle) and it gets little tiny invisible pieces of crap, our skin tries to push it out by seeping fluid that makes it flow out. Ever get a splinter in your finger and it comes out in a little bubble that bursts? Same thing.
However, it’s an open wound. You have to proactively manage an open wound. This means:
1) Clean it. Every day. The way your reputable artist told you to. If s/he wasn’t, I’m telling you: Antibacterial soap and warm water, well rinsed, twice a day. Dry it with SOMETHING CLEAN and put on CLEAN CLOTHES and keep your environment CLEAN.
2) Don’t fuck with it. My biggest fault is fucking with wounds on my own body. Don’t jab it with your finger. Don’t let your friends jab it with their fingers. Don’t apply expired Bacitracin (or unexpired Bacitracin) or apply lotion or anything other than what the nice, sane, clean, licensed, clean tattoo artist said to apply (and only apply it after you clean it).
3) Since we know no one can follow the instructions NOT to fuck with it, please only fuck with it after washing your hands.
4) CLEAN
