Redemption by Tattoo Afterlife is a USDA certified petroleum lubricant replacement.
It works well. In the past with A & D being used while the tattoo was done it would ooze as the A & D was being rejected from your skin. As it would ooze out some ink would come right along with it. I have had much less swelling the last two sessions using redemption. (It’s not cheap @ $20.00 / 6 ounces and the shop won’t buy it so the artist has to)
Anybody else used it? Check it out.

I’m cheap. (and easy!)
There may be other products that are similar. It appears that some shops around this area are getting away from A&D ointment.
