I am sure it contains petroleum which should be avoided until fully healed.
If you do use it – do so sparingly.

It is only in the first week or so it should be avoided petroleum is really thick oil base that clogs up the pores massively on cuts.

This creates a barrier through which bacteria can build up in as it is water resistant – its like gumming up the holes if you like.

Also the extra cleaning needed it can make the tattoo sore.

Finally some petroleum based products have traces of naptha which can lift the ink from the skin.
