I got my first tattoo 3 years ago, and it got like really infected cause i guess what i was using i was allergic to or something i dont know if it was the soap or an oitment or what it was, but i got another tattoo 4 days ago and the artist said since i had such a bad reaction on my last tattoo just to let this one dry heal, so since friday, i havent put anything on it at all, but its starting to scab up pretty good. i was doing some research on stuff to use and found these are probably the best, could someone tell me which one i might wanna try?

    A&D
    Curel
    Aquaphor

or if someone has something that might be better.

    thanks

    Hi

It is possible you have a zinc allergy my advice if it is scabbing is go for something mild like aquaphor or tattoo goo.

Try it and see how you respond – just dont slaver loads on.

    Hi

The main thing is that you do not over use the stuff if the tattoo has already scabbed try a non-scented moisturiser 2-3 times a day thin layer.

If you found the scabs are yet to form or it has cracked use the aquaphor for 2-5 days and apply a thin layer 2-3 times a day.

All healing ointments can lift ink if used too much or for too long. That said a few days light use will not effect the tattoo.

well since i alrerady had the tattoo for 5 days and theres scabs on it, would it be a good idea to switch to this lotion people all over the internet said is good, curel? or stick with the aquaphor?

Not used Curel myself but have used aquaphore for my tats.
The main is that you find something that you are happy with as most non-scented moisturisers should work fine.

    Hi

You can still use aquaphore if it is the non-scented but most prefer a standard non-scented moisturising cream.

Everybody is different to be honest and sometimes you have to test it out and see how your skin feels.
