    Hello all

    I have always wanted a tattoo but have never seen or thought of something that i REALLY liked (apart from the common good designs), until me & the wife had the TWINS, then i have always wanted to get a picture tattoo of them on my back but are scared that they will not look like them and i am stuck with two tattoos of ramdon kids upon myself, so my question to you all is, who/where is the best place to go for a portrait tattoo of the kids (I live in Hull ) I really want to get this tattoo, but want a googd one, please help!

    i think its a case of looking for portfolios online and reading up on forums etc .
    you might have to be willing to travel to get the perfect tattoo for you.

    we have a guy here called matthew who will be able to help you out because has some portrait tattoo’s 🙂

    Welcome to the forums.
    Props on the twins. I hope I get lucky enough to have twins when I have kids later down the road.
    Deff check up on portfolios, and don’t be afraid to travel a bit out of your way to get a decent tattoo.
    Make sure the artist has expierence doing portraits, and make sure the actual photo is included with the tattoo in their portfolios.

    Hi

    How far are you willing to travel? Eg upto a couple of hours drive or more?

    Is it colour or black and shade you are after?

    I have a few artists in mind but really need to know what you like style wise and how far you are willing to travel and spend.

    Good portraits don’t come cheap 😉

    I know a few artists in Hull but none of them specifically excel at portrait work as it is style very much on it’s own.
