I’m about ready to get my first tattoo. My mother says i can get one as long as it means something and always will and its not a name other then my own. My name is star so theres nothing wrong wit have it have a star in it. but if u are intersted in knowing more about what i want and think you can help message me or look at my post in the tattoo design request forum.
but i’m a laied back person who doesn’t put up with any shit. no tattoos like i said if i get my design i like i’ll be getting one soon even though i’m 13. my mom have two tattoos and plans on getting another one in the future witch i think is awesome!
the reason i’m getting it sooner then the orginal 16 years of age date is cuz i wanted my tounge periced (not for anyone else but me!!) and she said that i would rather u get your nose peirced so i said ok so let me get my nose peirced then she said i’d rather have you get a tattoo rather then ur nose peirced so i said ok let me get a tattoo and she just said let me see the design and you have to be mature about it and i have to know the meaning. so it works for me. i know the meaning and i want it for a good reason. so i get need the design so if u can help more plz contact me!!

This forum is really for people 18 and over , we do have some here that are 17 nearly 18 and planing to get a tattoo which is fine but 13 , i think you should come back when your older .
most here have prob had a sneaky tattoo done when they are young . i did and it spread and looked shit by the time i was 18 and now it needs covering up .
so dont be in a rush to get something , it might make you feel all cool now but by the time you have grown up and realize that you have to live for the rest of your life with that piece of shit that you picked ..
plus your mum must be a right twat for letting you at 13 .

Anyone in their right mind would not tattoo you, i dont know where you’re from but over here its illegal, as for your mum saying get a tattoo rather than get your nose pierced is plain damn stupidity, at least the hole can close up if you dont like it, tattoos ARE NOT stickers deary:mad: Theyre there for life, unless you want painful lazer surgery or a coverup later on. Grow up first then make some sane choices!!!

I am glad you are laid back sort of person because to be honest your post is going to attract a lot of negativity.
Although I am sure in your mind that you are ready for your tattoo there are several issues you should consider about this.
The tattooist doing it could be arrested for causing grieveous bodily harm or wounding with intent on a minor and/or if you are a female this could also be classed as sexual assualt.
Also have you considered the pain? Tattooing hurts and it can hurt a lot. Anybody who says it does not is 1. a liar, 2. a masochist, or 3. Totally stoned off their face when they get it done.
Disease – there is a multitude of infections you can get from tattooing. This also includes Hep A, B, and C as well as HIV/Aids. All of these are painful death sentences.
I mention this because it is likely that only a backyard scratcher would risk tattooing a minor and hygiene is usually at the bottom of their list.
On Friday I am heading to a funeral of a friend who died – he was 33 and succumbed to Hep C – I swear it was from the dodgy tat he had done at 14.
Also your body may not have finished growing – you will not reach full muscle growth until 16-18 so you get a tattoo now the shape can alter or ‘blow out’.
On top of all that you may end up hating your tattoo – and trust me laser hurts more than any tattoo – it is like somebody rubbing a burn with steel wool. Tastes change as wel get older and what is ‘cool’ in our teens can be seen as tacky in our 20’s and 30’s. Just look at those pics of how you dressed as a kid and think damn that is awful – same with ink.
Frankly I am amazed your mother has agreed to this. My daughter (who is 16) came to me and said I want a tattoo I would make her wait until the legal age of 18 before I even would consider it.
I really hope you give it some serious thoughts and don’t go through with it.
