Hey i am a tattoo virgin and am deciding to change that very soon! I never wanted one before till a couple of years ago when a life changing event happened and i promissed my self that I would do this for myself…I no longer am the same person because of the change and I want to express that with a tattoo. I work alot and don’t ever really have time for me along with the major change in my life I had three other events that proceeded it and I really deserve this. I want to get a heart with a claw scratch through it and a little blood dripping from it but cannot find anything like that anywhere how would I be alble to get some ideas on that when I can’t find any out there?

Hey there bud. What style are you looking for? It’s a good idea to look at artwork unassociated with tattoos first and primarily. This tattoo will be meaning a lot to you so you’ll want it done right. Study different styles like a naturalistic version or more stylized/signature. You’d be amazed at what a tattoo artist can sketch or replicate. Happy hunting.

Have a go at what Demure suggested and keep in mind that tattoo artists will be able to take your ideas and draw it out for you.
Find the pic of a heart, and then find a pic of some claw marks. If you can find a heart ya like that already has blood dripping from it use that. take it to the artist and give him an idea and the pics of the elements you want and let him/her have at it and draw ya up something real nice.
