Yep that is a panther head tattoo alright. Line work loos good I’m a bit put off by the color choices. As long as you like it that is all that matters. What appendage of yours is this on?
Its well done, cool piece. I agree with Buttwheat about some colors but overall it’s very solid. Not very often do you a see a traditional piece on this forum, don’t expect much love.
