At the beginning of this year I had a tattoo done by a friend of a friend, who I know now is probably a scratcher, to cut a long story short, he made a complete cock up of the design and I was so ashamed of it I couldn’t bear to look at it much less show it off. I was too embarrassed to go back to my usual artist so put up with it as long as I could, which wasn’t very long. I just had to bite the bullet and explain to my usual tattooist what a complete idiot i had been and ask him to look at it and see if he could either cover it or rework it. Thankfully I still had my original print off of the design so the whole thing has been reworked……..so now I’m ready to let it be seen. It has cost me twice as much not to mention the agitation it has caused me.
The first pic is after the first part of the rework, the original tatto had lines that didn’t meet, shading which was just crap and it looked as bog eyed as a basket of pups! Sorry, I forgot to take a picture of the original piece of shit!

I have to say that I have really learnt my lesson the hard way, thankfully it has turned out ok, it could so easily have been a complete disaster! So original work by a S**T, rework by Kris of Zoo Tattoo, Hull
Thanks guys, I’m really pleased with it, going to get my friend to take some better pics of it – no idea why I didn’t go to Kris in the first place……………I had seen some work that the original guy had done and it looked fine, but today have seen some tribal work that he did and I had to say what a crock of shit it was, it wasn’t even filled in, just had a load of lines where he had tried to shade it. If I’d seen that in the first place I’d have run a mile before I’d let him do anything for me. Costly lesson learnt.
