    Hi,

I first debated the concept of a tattoo 5 yrs ago and have changed my mind on what I would like my first tattoo to be throughout.

I have gone from Tribal Half Sleeve to Polynesian Tribal Full sleeve and now to Black and Grey Full Sleeve.

I now feel glad that I haven’t rushed into getting a tattoo as looking back at some of the tribal designs I had researched, they now do nothing for me.

After doing further research, which has been somewhat frustrating as I was unable to find a style or theme, I have found work done by James Spencer Briggs from the US that has really stood out to me.

Please see tattoo in the following link: http://media-cache-ec0.pinimg.com/736x/59/15/e3/5915e38471139bef0027862e46b9feda.jpg

I currently live in West Yorkshire and also travel back to Stoke-on-Trent frequently. Could anyone recommend an artist in/near these areas that are of a similar style.

I am also struggling to find a theme that I want to portray in this style. Could anyone help with the thought process in selecting a theme as I do not want to go with a theme that has no meaning and will be “out of fashion” in a few years.

    Sorry for the lengthy post.

    Best Regards,

    Shaun

    Welcome!

I’m glad you stopped in here. While I wouldn’t personally get black and gray, it does look good on many people.

Check out the “gallery” here as well as member peterpoos’ tattoos and his “brag Art List”. Keep us posted.

Stop thinking in terms of sleeves and half sleeves. Focus on getting something you love from an artist that does great work in the style you want the piece in. Most people don’t complete sleeves for years….
Forget the fashion part completely. Good work from a good artist is timeless.
