I have a question which I hope you can help me with. I’m in the process of getting a traditional Japanese tattoo of a Fu Dog (Foo Dog) (just started the shading) and I am very happy with it.

Next step is the colour, and here is my dilemma. I want the colours to be as traditional as possible. As you probably know, the colours of Fu Dog pictures online vary greatly.

So I was hoping someone can actually tell me what the TRADITIONAL Japanese Fu Dog colour (on a tattoo) might be. This includes the colour of the ball thingy. 🙂

BTW, I am extremely happy with my tattoo artist, I come from Macedonia – same as her so you can imagine, her exposition to the tattoo world is somewhat limited due to the location. Have a look at her work, and spread the word – if you like what you see. 🙂
