So I got this tattoo before I deployed to Afghanistan, and don’t get me wrong I’m still in love with it but I kind of want to make it less protruding and a little more blended in with my skin. For example, a darker background behind it like smoke or even just a base.

would it be possible to add something like the blue background on this t shirt in?

The picture doesn’t work, so I can’t answer.
Welcome to the forum!
Only second link worked.
Picture works fine now.
I think a good tattoo artist could do a lot with that tattoo. Give them your rough idea and see what they come up with.
Keep us posted.
Well I had went to an artist here a few months ago, and I was planning on doing something with the tattoo but they wanted me to put a down payment of $60 before I even talked to an artist. I was kind of hoping that somebody on here could draw me up and example so that I could see how it’d look…. here’s a picture of my tattoo on paper, so now if somebody could put that background behind it so that I could get a better idea, that’d be great!

Coverup man, it’s hideous. Sorry to be blunt, but it would be fairly easy to cover with something awesome.
Okay so clearly you didn’t read my first post stating that I like the tattoo, so unless you’re going to contribute to my question, stop posting in this thread.
So you want to make it less protruding, but making it bigger and more colorful? Sorry, but no… that does not work.

Na I mean like with a background it’d look more natural and less like somebody just stamped it on there.

I can see a background enhancing your tattoo and having it appear more finished.
$60.00 is not much of a deposit, but BEFORE you even talk to an artist? That’s weird. I always thought talk was cheap!

Thats exactly what I’m going for, it definitely feels like its not finished. And yeah, its not the price that was a big deal but the fact that I had to actually pay just to talk to one was ridiculous.
