Hi, there. My name’s Tina and i’m head of Einstein Photography, to really kick start the year off I’m doing a campaign, titled “This is who i am”.

Ever since I got my tattoo i’ve been treated like something you would find in the gutter, so i’m making a change.

If you want to be a part of this campaign, all you have to do is take 2 pictures of yourself, one hiding your tattoo with a sign saying “my name is ***, i work as a *** and this is me and one with yourself showing the tattoo with a sign saying this who i am,.

    Email it to einsteinphotography@gmail.com

My aim, is to make this campaign worldwide to show people that just because you have something it doesn’t mean that’s all you are.
    So pass on the word.

All this will do is make us look like complete pricks holding a sign up lol sorry I know your trying to do something to sway the minds of socially brainwashed moronic robots but I don’t think this is the way for me personally 🙂

With the recent tattoo “reality” television shows more people are aware of those displaying tattoos and generally more accepting of them.
I haven’t gone job seeking with tattoos, but discrimination is indeed there. A friend’s wife was called for jury duty but was not selected. Was it because of her tattoos? Perhaps.
I used to be more concerned what people thought of me based on my appearance but since I have multiple tattoos I really don’t give a fuck! (a feeling I’m still getting used to)

Of course not, I also have not ever been a victim of the discrimination you have suffered but I know it happens, which is usually by people who have been wrapped in cotton wool all their lives and not even worth worrying about. trust me you have a deeper soul than them if that makes sense 🙂

If your looking to do a photo project then you might look to be more creative. You may find some people willing to join in your project but to make an impact that will last you have to come up with something that shows the stereotype is no longer valid. Something Blacks have been trying to do for years yet some of their same people keep the stereotype alive. If that’s too racist then look at homosexuality. People are going to think what they want to think and there is very little one can do to change their minds. Sometimes you have to join Sam-I-Am and say who gives a fuck what some pin wearing yuppie is going to think about me. Piss them off by doing better work then them. Be more sociable, creative, alive, and accepting of those who are different. Let them live in their little dream world. Just smash it by living in your own

So something like this https://www.facebook.com/TattooedAndEmployed?ref=ts&fref=ts or this https://www.facebook.com/ThINKequality is what you are doing? Sounds pretty original to me.

Personally I don’t think I have ever had a negative experience from being tattooed.
One time I was in church and the pastor looked at the devil on my forearm and said he liked it.
    A definite “wtf” moment.
